Responsibilities
- Safely operate a Class A commercial vehicle on assigned routes throughout the Minneapolis area and beyond.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper weight distribution and securing freight.
- Maintain accurate logs (EOBR) and paperwork, including delivery receipts and bills of lading.
- Provide exceptional customer service during pickups and deliveries.
- Adhere to all DOT, FMCSA, and company safety policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable Class A driving experience.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC).
- Ability to pass a DOT physical examination.
- Pass a drug screen and background check.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws and road safety.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and handle physical demands of the job.
