Job Overview
As a CDL Class A Route Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of freight to our valued customers. We pride ourselves on customer satisfaction and expect our drivers to represent our brand with professionalism and integrity.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a Class A Commercial Motor Vehicle (CMV) in accordance with DOT regulations.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical safety.
- Deliver freight to designated stops while maintaining a professional demeanor with customers.
- Manage and organize delivery documentation, including bills of lading and proof of delivery.
- Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, and driving hours (HOS).
- Load and unload cargo securely using proper lifting techniques and equipment.
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and company policies at all times.
Qualifications
- CDL Class A License: Must possess a valid, unendorsed Class A Commercial Driver's License.
- Driving Record: Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no major violations in the past 3 years.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience preferred.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to work independently.
- Documentation: Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
