Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for regional and multi-state routes
- Maintain precise delivery schedules while optimizing route efficiency
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip inspections and vehicle maintenance checks
- Ensure compliance with FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Load/unload freight with proper handling techniques and equipment
- Document delivery logs and maintain accurate electronic records
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Collaborate with dispatch team for real-time route adjustments
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with DOT regulations and logbook compliance
- Strong navigation skills using GPS and route planning tools
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
