Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles to deliver goods on regional routes
- Adapt delivery schedules to accommodate flexible hour preferences (early mornings, afternoons, or evenings)
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle logs
- Collaborate with dispatch team to optimize routes and maintain on-time performance
- Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Build positive relationships with clients through professional service
- Document delivery exceptions and report maintenance needs promptly
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year of verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to work flexible hours including early mornings, evenings, and weekends
- Strong commitment to safety and defensive driving practices
- Proficiency using electronic logging devices (ELD) and GPS navigation
- Physical ability to handle freight loading/unloading and variable weather conditions
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Pass background check and drug screening
