Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for dedicated local routes within San Diego County
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and electronic logging systems
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and basic preventative maintenance
- Adapt to dynamic scheduling while maintaining on-time delivery performance
- Uphold strict safety protocols and DOT compliance standards
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and warehouse teams
- Represent the company professionally with all client interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of San Diego County roadways and traffic patterns
- Flexibility to adjust start/end times within 6 AM-6 PM window
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Excellent time management and customer service abilities
