Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles to deliver freight on designated routes across Northwest Ohio
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Ensure timely delivery of goods while adhering to DOT regulations and company policies
- Build positive client relationships through professional communication and service excellence
- Utilize GPS technology for route optimization and real-time delivery tracking
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve delivery issues and update shipment status
- Maintain clean, organized cab and secure cargo throughout transport
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A license with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading/unloading equipment
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Excellent time management and route navigation skills
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Flexibility for early morning starts and occasional overtime
- Basic computer literacy for electronic logging and documentation
