Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial trucks on designated local and regional routes in and around Albuquerque.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Load and unload cargo securely using appropriate equipment, such as pallet jacks and forklifts.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and delivery paperwork.
- Adhere strictly to all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and company safety policies.
- Communicate proactively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any delays.
- Keep the cab and cargo area clean and organized at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A with a clean driving record.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screen.
- Previous experience with flatbed or tanker loads is a plus.
- Strong commitment to safety, punctuality, and customer service.
- Basic mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting minor vehicle issues.
