The Role:
As a CDL Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and timely transport of goods throughout the San Francisco region and beyond. We are committed to maintaining a clean, modern fleet and providing a supportive work environment.
Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks and trailers in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical safety and compliance.
- Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring proper weight distribution and handling of hazardous materials if applicable.
- Complete all necessary paperwork, including logbooks, delivery receipts, and daily reports accurately and on time.
- Maintain a clean and professional appearance, representing our company positively at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and team members regarding delivery status and route changes.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Must possess a clean driving record (MVR) with no more than two moving violations in the last three years.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination and drug screen.
- Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to work independently.
