Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial motor vehicles in accordance with FMCSA regulations and company policies.
- Load and unload cargo using proper tie-down techniques to ensure safety and compliance.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to identify and report mechanical issues.
- Maintain accurate logs (ELD) and strictly adhere to Hours of Service (HOS) rules.
- Navigate complex routes and traffic patterns efficiently to meet delivery deadlines.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding cargo status and route changes.
- Keep the vehicle interior and exterior clean and presentable at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- U.S. Citizenship or Legal Permanent Residency status.
- Familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELD) and automated dispatch systems.
- Strong commitment to safety, time management, and professional conduct.
