Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial motor vehicles (Class A) in compliance with all FMCSA and DOT regulations.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Load and unload freight accurately and securely, ensuring cargo integrity.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and delivery paperwork.
- Adhere to strict time schedules and delivery windows to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and any delays.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A (Must be obtained).
- Current DOT Medical Card.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions while driving.
- Basic math skills for cargo documentation.
