Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial trucks in local and regional delivery routes within Las Vegas and surrounding areas.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance and report any mechanical issues.
- Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring proper weight distribution and documentation.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours (DOT compliant) and vehicle mileage.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any delays.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A required.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable driving experience.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Medical Card).
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety procedures.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and physical stamina for long hours on the road.
