Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A or B) in compliance with FMCSA regulations and company policies.
- Load and unload freight accurately and efficiently using proper equipment.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and daily inspection reports.
- Provide exceptional customer service to shippers and receivers at delivery points.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and maintain a clean driving record.
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A or Class B license (with appropriate endorsements if required).
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable driving experience (commercial or heavy passenger).
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Physical).
- Pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws, safety regulations, and navigation.
- Ability to lift and move cargo weighing up to 50 lbs occasionally.
