Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks (Class A) safely and efficiently on assigned routes.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical safety and compliance.
- Complete all necessary daily paperwork, including logbooks (ELD) and delivery receipts, accurately and on time.
- Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor while interacting with customers and team members.
- Load and unload cargo securely using proper lifting techniques and equipment.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company safety policies.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Medical Card).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable driving experience.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination and drug screen.
- Strong knowledge of DOT compliance and hours-of-service regulations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
