Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial Class A vehicles on local and regional routes within San Antonio and surrounding areas.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
- Load and unload cargo efficiently while adhering to safety protocols to prevent damage.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic logging device (ELD) records and delivery paperwork.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety guidelines at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any delays.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or ability to obtain one through our paid training program.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Physical) is required.
- 21 years of age or older.
- Clean driving record with no more than 2 moving violations in the past 3 years.
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Basic math skills for toll calculations and cargo weight management.
- Strong commitment to safety and customer service excellence.
