Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class 8 tractor-trailers on regional routes covering Texas, Oklahoma, and Louisiana
- Conduct pre-trip/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate electronic logs (ELD)
- Handle no-touch freight loading/unloading at distribution centers
- Adhere strictly to FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with dispatch team for timely deliveries
- Utilize advanced GPS routing and telematics systems for efficient navigation
- Participate in quarterly safety training and performance reviews
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL-A)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic understanding of ELD compliance and electronic logs
- Strong commitment to safety and on-time delivery standards
- Flexibility to work weekends and overnight routes as needed
- Proficiency with mobile communication apps (e.g., Qualcomm)
