Responsibilities
- Safely operate a commercial motor vehicle (CMV) in accordance with federal and state regulations.
- Load and secure cargo accurately using appropriate tie-down equipment.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Maintain accurate logbooks and electronic logging device (ELD) records.
- Deliver freight on time to designated destinations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable driving experience (preferred).
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical and drug screen.
- Strong knowledge of cargo securement and safety regulations.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Excellent communication and time management skills.
