Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial Class A trucks, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure equipment is in safe working order.
- Load and unload cargo accurately and efficiently using proper lifting techniques and equipment.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, including electronic logging devices (ELD) and delivery receipts.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding route changes or delays.
- Uphold the company's high standards for safety and cleanliness at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A with a clean driving record (MVR).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable driving experience in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical and drug screen.
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and hours of service (HOS) compliance.
- Must be able to operate a manual transmission and possess basic mechanical skills.
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills.
