Responsibilities
- Safely operate and maintain a box truck for local/regional deliveries
- Plan efficient routes to ensure timely pickups and drop-offs
- Manage delivery documentation and maintain accurate mileage logs
- Provide exceptional customer service during client interactions
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and minor maintenance
- Adhere to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
Qualifications
- Valid Class C driver's license with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year box truck experience or equivalent commercial driving
- Reliable box truck (24-26ft) in good working condition
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Knowledge of Southern California geography
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Strong time management and organizational abilities
- Proof of commercial insurance ($1M liability minimum)
