Responsibilities
- Safely operate box trucks for local/regional freight deliveries
- Adhere to DOT regulations and maintain accurate trip logs
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance
- Optimize delivery routes to ensure on-time performance
- Communicate with dispatch and clients professionally
- Manage documentation (bills of lading, invoices)
- Uphold company safety standards and compliance
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with clean MVR (3+ years)
- Ability to pass background/drug screening
- Basic mechanical aptitude for vehicle upkeep
- Strong time management and customer service skills
