Responsibilities
- Safely operate box truck for local/regional freight deliveries in Miami-Dade County
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and routine vehicle maintenance
- Optimize routes for on-time delivery using provided GPS technology
- Coordinate with dispatch team for real-time load assignments
- Complete delivery documentation and customer service interactions
- Manage inventory handling and secure cargo protocols
- Maintain clean, DOT-compliant vehicle records
Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL with clean driving record (3+ years commercial experience)
- Owned or leased box truck (26' or larger) with current registration
- Proven experience in local/regional freight delivery
- Knowledge of Miami metro roadways and delivery zones
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and operate loading equipment
- Strong time management and customer service skills
- Smartphone and reliable communication required
- Commercial liability insurance ($1M minimum)
