Responsibilities
- Operate 10-26ft box trucks safely and efficiently to deliver freight on time.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance.
- Manage cargo loading, securing, and unloading processes.
- Maintain accurate documentation, including Bills of Lading and delivery receipts.
- Adhere to all DOT regulations, safety protocols, and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and receivers regarding delays or issues.
- Represent the company professionally at every stop.
Qualifications
- Must own and maintain a fully operational, DOT compliant box truck (10-26ft preferred).
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or equivalent driving experience.
- Current Commercial Auto Insurance and Motor Carrier Authority (if applicable).
- Clean driving record with no recent DUIs or serious traffic violations.
- Ability to pass a DOT physical examination.
- Strong work ethic and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Residency in the Jacksonville, FL area or willingness to relocate.
