Responsibilities
- Safely operate box trucks (24-26ft) for local/regional deliveries
- Maintain compliance with DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Manage loading/unloading operations with warehouse teams
- Submit accurate daily logs and delivery documentation
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance inspections
- Optimize routes for timely deliveries using provided dispatch tools
- Communicate proactively with dispatch and clients
- Represent Durham Logistics Solutions professionally at all client sites
Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL with clean driving record (MVR required)
- Minimum 2 years box truck experience
- DOT medical certification current
- Reliable personal box truck (24-26ft) with valid registration
- Basic knowledge of DOT regulations and HOS
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs repeatedly
- Smartphone with GPS and data connectivity
