Responsibilities
- Deliver cargo to residential and commercial destinations safely and on time.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Load and unload freight using proper lifting techniques and equipment.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic logging devices (ELD).
- Ensure the truck remains clean and presentable at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding delays or issues.
- Adhere to all local, state, and federal traffic laws and regulations.
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Own a reliable 24-26ft Box Truck.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in local delivery or truck driving.
- Ability to lift up to 100 lbs occasionally.
- Strong customer service skills and professional demeanor.
- Must have a smartphone for load assignment and communication.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently.
