Responsibilities
- Safe and timely delivery of goods across Columbus metropolitan area
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic paperwork
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections of company-provided equipment
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Optimize routes for maximum efficiency and fuel conservation
- Represent Premier Logistics Group with professional customer service
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years box truck or straight truck experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Strong knowledge of Columbus area and surrounding regions
- Reliable smartphone with GPS capability
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Proof of commercial vehicle insurance coverage
