Responsibilities
- Operate Commercial Box Trucks: Safely and efficiently transport freight across Alaska and the Lower 48.
- Freight Handling: Secure cargo properly, ensuring it arrives at the destination in perfect condition.
- Maintenance Management: Perform routine vehicle inspections and basic maintenance to keep your truck on the road.
- Customer Service: Deliver professional service to customers and handle billing documentation accurately.
- Route Planning: Utilize GPS and mapping tools to plan the most efficient delivery routes.
- Compliance: Adhere to all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and company policies.
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class B License: With Tanker endorsement preferred.
- Ownership: You must own or have access to a qualifying 26' Box Truck.
- Driving Record: Clean MVR (Motor Vehicle Record) with no recent major violations.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of commercial driving experience preferred.
- Physical Fitness: Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills and basic computer literacy.
