Responsibilities
- Safely operate box trucks (24-26ft) for local/regional deliveries throughout Pittsburgh and surrounding areas
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and electronic logging (ELD)
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and preventative maintenance
- Coordinate with dispatch team for optimal route planning and on-time deliveries
- Manage customer service interactions and delivery confirmations
- Ensure compliance with FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Optimize fuel efficiency and operational cost management
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of box truck or commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Strong time management and route optimization skills
- Basic mechanical knowledge for preventative maintenance
- Reliable personal box truck (24-26ft) in good working condition
- Proof of commercial auto liability insurance ($1M minimum)
- Smartphone with data plan for dispatch communication
