Responsibilities
- Safely operate box trucks (26-28 ft) for local/regional freight delivery
- Adhere to DOT regulations and perform daily vehicle inspections
- Coordinate with dispatch for efficient route planning and on-time deliveries
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and proof of service
- Communicate proactively with clients and warehouse personnel
- Manage basic freight loading/unloading when required
- Uphold professional appearance and customer service standards
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B CDL with clean driving record (3+ years)
- Box truck or straight truck experience (minimum 1 year)
- DOT medical certification and current physical card
- Reliable cargo van or box truck (2005+ model preferred)
- Smartphone with reliable internet access
- Basic understanding of logistics software/apps
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Strong time management and communication skills
