Responsibilities
- Operate box trucks for local/regional deliveries across South Florida
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and maintenance
- Coordinate with dispatch for efficient route planning
- Ensure safe handling of freight during loading/unloading
- Adhere to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Communicate delivery status to clients and dispatch
Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL with clean driving record (3+ years)
- Minimum 2 years box truck or heavy vehicle experience
- Own reliable box truck (26+ ft) with proper insurance
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Proficient with GPS navigation and route optimization
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds occasionally
- Strong time management and customer service skills
