Responsibilities
- Operate box truck for safe, timely local/regional freight delivery
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Coordinate with dispatch team for optimized routing
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and maintenance checks
- Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Build client relationships through exceptional service
- Manage inventory and cargo handling procedures
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years box truck operation experience
- Proof of commercial liability insurance ($1M+)
- DOT medical certification and annual physical
- Reliable box truck (26ft+) in excellent condition
- Smartphone with GPS and data connectivity
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs repeatedly
- Strong time management and communication skills
