Responsibilities
- Safely operate box trucks (24-26ft) for local/regional deliveries
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and basic maintenance
- Coordinate with dispatch for efficient route optimization
- Ensure freight security and proper handling procedures
- Communicate delivery status with clients and dispatch team
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years box truck experience
- Proof of commercial liability insurance ($1M+)
- DOT medical certification current
- Basic mechanical knowledge for minor repairs
- Strong time management and customer service skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
