Responsibilities
- Safely operate box trucks (24-26ft) for local/regional deliveries
- Maintain strict adherence to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Manage timely pickup and delivery of freight within Pittsburgh metro area
- Complete accurate paperwork and digital logging (ELD)
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and maintenance coordination
- Communicate proactively with dispatch and clients
- Optimize routes for maximum efficiency and profitability
Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL with clean driving record (3+ years)
- Proof of commercial truck insurance ($1M liability)
- Reliable 24-26ft box truck (2008+ model preferred)
- Experience with local/regional delivery routes
- Strong knowledge of Pittsburgh area geography
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs repeatedly
- Smartphone with reliable data for communication
