Responsibilities
- Safe & Efficient Delivery: Load and unload packages safely, ensuring they are in excellent condition before delivery.
- Customer Service: Deliver packages to residential and commercial addresses with a friendly, professional demeanor.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Route Management: Follow assigned routes efficiently, managing time effectively to meet delivery windows.
- Proof of Delivery: Accurately document and handle returns or issues as they arise during the route.
- Compliance: Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Driver's License: Valid Class C driver's license required with a clean driving record (no DUIs in the last 3-5 years).
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Physical Capability: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Reliable Transportation: Must have reliable access to a vehicle suitable for commercial delivery purposes.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to use handheld delivery devices.
- Background Check: Must pass a standard background check.
