Responsibilities
- Operate a delivery vehicle in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.
- Unload packages from the vehicle and deliver them to the correct customer address with a focus on accuracy and care.
- Obtain electronic proof of delivery (POD) and ensure all necessary documentation is completed accurately.
- Maintain a clean and organized delivery vehicle, including regular inspections and basic maintenance checks.
- Interact professionally with customers, handling questions or issues with a positive attitude.
- Adhere to strict safety protocols, including proper lifting techniques and hazard awareness.
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is preferred; equivalent driving experience may be considered.
- Able to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to work independently.
- Excellent time management skills and attention to detail.
