Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport packages to customers on designated routes
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures when required
- Perform pre-trip inspections and report vehicle maintenance needs promptly
- Optimize routes for efficiency while adhering to delivery time windows
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Load/unload packages securely to prevent damage
- Adhere strictly to Amazon safety protocols and traffic regulations
Qualifications
- Valid Class C driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year of commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Strong time management and route navigation skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Ability to work flexible schedules including early mornings and weekends
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Basic smartphone proficiency for delivery tracking
