Responsibilities
- Develop and implement ethical AI governance frameworks aligned with IEEE 7000 and EU AI Act standards
- Conduct bias audits and impact assessments for machine learning models across all product lines
- Collaborate with engineering teams to embed ethical design principles into AI development lifecycles
- Lead stakeholder dialogues with regulators, academia, and civil society on AI ethics
- Create transparency mechanisms for algorithmic decision-making systems
- Establish incident response protocols for ethical AI breaches
- Mentor cross-functional teams on responsible AI practices
Qualifications
- PhD in Ethics, Philosophy, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years AI governance experience
- Published research on algorithmic bias or AI ethics in top-tier journals/conferences
- Expertise in global AI regulatory landscapes (EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF, etc.)
- Proven ability to translate complex ethical concepts into technical requirements
- Experience with bias mitigation techniques in ML pipelines (e.g., fairness constraints, adversarial debiasing)
- Certification in Responsible AI (e.g., Stanford HAI, MIT IDH) preferred
- Exceptional communication skills for executive and technical audiences
