Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive AI ethics governance frameworks for autonomous systems
- Lead cross-functional audits of AI algorithms for bias, fairness, and transparency
- Collaborate with product teams to embed ethical design principles in AI lifecycle
- Advocate for ethical AI standards in industry consortiums and regulatory bodies
- Conduct risk assessments for emerging AI applications (e.g., generative AI, autonomous agents)
- Train stakeholders on ethical AI practices and compliance requirements
- Publish thought leadership on AI ethics and governance in peer-reviewed journals
Qualifications
- PhD in Ethics, Computer Science, Philosophy, or related field with 5+ years' AI governance experience
- Expertise in EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF, and global AI regulatory landscapes
- Proven track record of implementing ethical AI frameworks in production systems
- Strong background in machine learning, data science, and algorithmic fairness
- Certification in AI ethics (e.g., IEEE Ethics Certification) preferred
- Exceptional communication skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Experience with AI risk assessment tools and bias detection methodologies
