Responsibilities
- Operate box trucks safely and efficiently on local and regional routes within Baltimore and surrounding areas.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
- Load and unload freight securely, ensuring cargo is protected from damage.
- Maintain accurate logs (ELD) and all necessary DOT compliance documentation.
- Provide exceptional customer service during pickups and deliveries.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and support teams regarding route changes or delays.
Qualifications
- Own and maintain a late-model box truck (must be 2015 or newer).
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable experience in box truck or flatbed operations.
- Ability to pass a DOT physical and background check.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
- Willingness to adhere to company safety policies and procedures.
