- Forecast technological and societal trends impacting 2026-2030 horizon through data modeling and scenario planning
- Develop strategic roadmaps for emerging tech adoption (quantum computing, synthetic biology, neural interfaces)
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align product development with future market needs
- Author annual '2026 Vision Report' for executive board and investor briefings
- Identify and evaluate potential acquisition targets in frontier technology sectors
- Build and maintain relationships with academic institutions and government innovation labs
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Technology Forecasting, Systems Engineering, or related field
- 8+ years experience in strategic technology planning or innovation consulting
- Published thought leadership on emerging tech (AI, quantum, biotech) preferred
- Expertise in horizon scanning methodologies and trend analysis frameworks
- Deep understanding of regulatory landscapes for emerging technologies
- Strong data visualization and presentation skills for executive audiences
- Experience with scenario planning tools and futures research methodologies
