Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis for 2026 technology paradigms (quantum computing, AGI, biotech convergence)
- Architect strategic roadmaps for emerging technology adoption across enterprise divisions
- Collaborate with C-suite executives to align future visions with business objectives
- Develop predictive models for market disruption and competitive positioning
- Establish cross-functional innovation labs for rapid prototyping of 2026-relevant solutions
- Present findings to global stakeholders at industry summits and academic forums
- Mentor next-generation futurists through our Future Leaders program
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or Futurist Studies (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic technology planning or innovation leadership roles
- Proven expertise in forecasting methodologies (Delphi, causal layered analysis)
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies and their societal implications
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or major tech publications
- Certification in Futures Research or Strategic Foresight (e.g., CFrA)
- Experience with global technology ecosystem mapping and scenario planning
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful future-vision implementations
