Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon scanning of emerging technologies (quantum AI, neuromorphic chips, synthetic biology) with 3-5 year impact assessments
- Develop technology roadmaps aligning with 2026 societal and business transformation goals
- Lead cross-functional workshops to integrate future tech insights into product development cycles
- Author thought leadership publications on ethical AI deployment and human-machine symbiosis
- Advise C-suite on strategic investments in nascent technologies with 2026 market potential
- Manage a $5M innovation portfolio for prototype development of 2026-ready solutions
- Represent company at global tech summits and shape industry standards for next-gen frameworks
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or Future Studies with 10+ years in tech strategy
- Published research on quantum computing, AGI safety, or biotech convergence
- Proven track record of launching products with 3+ year market foresight
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging technology domains (quantum, AI, neurotech, etc.)
- Experience with scenario planning methodologies and trend analysis frameworks
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to executive audiences
- Portfolio demonstrating 2026-focused innovation initiatives or thought leadership
- Ability to obtain US government security clearance for classified research projects
