Responsibilities
- Architect 5-year strategic roadmap for AI/quantum convergence using predictive modeling and trend analysis
- Lead cross-disciplinary 'Future Forge' workshops with engineers, ethicists, and industry disruptors
- Identify and commercialize exponential technologies with $1B+ market potential
- Establish patent portfolios for breakthrough innovations in human-AI symbiosis
- Present quarterly 'State of 2026' briefings to C-suite and board of trustees
- Mentor next-gen futurists through our 'Horizon Fellowship' program
- Forge strategic alliances with MIT Media Lab, CERN, and NASA JPL
Qualifications
- PhD or equivalent in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or Computational Physics
- 10+ years in strategic innovation at FAANG or top-tier quantum research institutions
- Published work in Nature Futures or IEEE Spectrum on exponential technologies
- Proven track record of commercializing at least 3 breakthrough innovations
- Deep expertise in AGI safety frameworks, quantum algorithm design, or neurotech
- Fluency in forecasting methodologies (Delphi, Horizon Scanning, S-curve analysis)
- Portfolio demonstrating 2025+ tech visions with tangible implementations
- Clearance for DOE/NASA-level collaborative research initiatives
