Responsibilities
- Develop and publish annual '2026 Horizon Report' analyzing technological, economic, and societal shifts
- Lead scenario-planning workshops to prepare for disruptive market forces
- Design 5-year innovation roadmaps aligned with 2026 strategic objectives
- Partner with R&D teams to identify breakthrough opportunities
- Present foresight insights to stakeholders and board members
- Establish metrics to track emerging trend adoption rates
- Mentor junior futurists and build foresight capabilities
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning, innovation, or futurist consulting
- Proven expertise in emerging tech (AI, quantum, biotech)
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Business Strategy, or related field
- Published thought leadership on 2020s trend analysis
- Experience with scenario planning and horizon scanning methodologies
- Exceptional data visualization and storytelling skills
- Track record of influencing C-suite decisions
- Deep understanding of global megatrends (demographics, climate, geopolitics)
