Responsibilities
- Architect multi-year innovation roadmaps mapping technological convergence (quantum/AI/biotech)
- Lead foresight research using scenario planning and trend analysis for 2026+ horizons
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops with engineers, designers, and business strategists
- Translate foresight into MVP prototypes and pilot programs for emerging markets
- Present strategic recommendations to executive board and investor committees
- Maintain competitive intelligence through global startup scouting and academic partnerships
- Mentor innovation teams in agile methodologies and human-centered design
Qualifications
- 8+ years in strategy, innovation, or R&D leadership within tech/biotech sectors
- Expertise in futures methodologies (horizon scanning, Delphi, backcasting)
- Proven track record launching exponential technologies (quantum/AI/biotech)
- Advanced degree in Strategic Foresight, Innovation Management, or related field
- Strong data storytelling skills with proficiency in visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI)
- Experience securing $1M+ budgets for innovation initiatives
- Deep network with global research institutions and venture capital firms
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation strategy
